Role Overview:

A dynamic SW Engineering team in Sydney CBD is looking to bring on a Senior Full Stack Developer to complement the team's capabilities. You'll be working in an Agile environment with a collaborative culture and management that are super-supportive to enable you to deliver successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable backend services using Java, Python or
  • Create responsive frontend applications using React, Angular, or
  • Implement RESTful APIs, Foundational Integration APIs & microservices architectures
  • Providing on-call support for incidents, responding to and resolving access, integration, and platform issues in Jira Service Desk while ensuring SLA compliance and minimal disruption to internal teams

Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of full stack software development experience
  • Familiarity with MESH federated platform
  • Solid hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and automation
  • Proficient in Git, CI/CD tools, and pipeline automation
  • Skilled in API design, RESTful services, and microservices architecture
  • Familiar with event-driven systems and messaging platforms including Jira
  • Experience with multi-window, multi container custom browser UI
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and logical reasoning
  • Ability to break down complex technical challenges into practical solutions

About you:

You'll have an inherent interest in technology and possess critical thinking and analysis skills as well as exposure to AI (and how it can be effectively utilised to drive efficiencies including automation) in an Enterprise environment.

You'll also have strong communication skills to be able to liaise with both your Dev team as well as peers and senior internal stakeholders.
