The opportunity

IMDEX is on a bold journey to expand its digital footprint, recently acquiring three cutting-edge technology companies: Earth Science Analytics, Datarock, and Krux. To support this exciting growth, we're creating a brand-new role within our group finance team — Finance Integration Lead.

This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of financial transformation and integration across multiple global entities. Reporting to the Corporate Finance Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how IMDEX brings new businesses into the fold, aligning systems, processes, and people.

Main responsibilities include

· Partnering with finance leads from acquired entities to align processes and data quality with IMDEX standards

· Reviewing balance sheets for compliance with IMDEX policies, IFRS requirements, and risk management

· Leading the financial integration of acquisitions into IMDEX's consolidation software

· Developing and implementing month-end close processes that meet group policy

· Supporting adoption of IMDEX accounting policies, especially around revenue recognition and lease accounting

· Assisting with annual budgets and mid-year forecasts across the group

· Delivering timely, accurate, and insightful financial analysis to executive leadership

Essential:

· Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

· CA/CPA qualified

· 6+ years' experience in a global/multi-national company or Big-4 environment

· Willingness to travel internationally

· Strong knowledge of financial accounting and month-end close processes

· Proven ability to drive process improvements and standardisation

· Advanced Excel skills and high attention to detail

· Analytical mindset with a process-driven approach

· Self-starter with excellent planning and coordination skills

· Strong communicator and collaborative team player

· Comfortable in dynamic, evolving environments

Desirable:

· Big-4 background highly regarded

· Experience in M&A projects and financial integration
