Senior Coach & Community Leader: Flow Performance (Balcatta)

Our mission is to empower our members through evidence-based training, education, and community. We're searching for an experienced Senior Coach & Community Leader who's ready to join our team and make an impact from day one.

About the Role

This isn't your typical coaching gig. We want someone who is passionate about people, community, and purpose.

You'll be coaching small-group strength & conditioning sessions (up to 16 members) in a semi-private environment using our proven, evidence-based programming. You'll also help guide younger coaches, take ownership of community engagement, and contribute to events and programming.

We want someone who doesn't just show up, but leads. Someone who treats Flow and its members as their own.

Hours: 3 - 4 days p/w, hours and days determined during onboarding (2/3 of time coaching and community development, 1/3 of time on coach development).

Start date: ASAP (interviews will start immediately).

Pay: Hourly wage (based on experience).

What You'll Do

• Coach small-group training sessions with energy, skill, and genuine care
• Deliver exceptional 1:1 PT sessions (with opportunity to grow your base)
• Mentor and develop younger coaches
• Support programming input
• Lead from the front in community engagement, events, and member challenges
• Contribute to our mission of making Flow Performance a leader in Perth's fitness space

What You Bring

• A minimum of 2 years coaching experience (strength & conditioning, semi-private, or functional fitness background)
• Cert III & IV in Fitness (minimum) + Senior First Aid
• Confident coaching core lifts (squat, deadlift, bench press, pull-ups, cleans, etc.)
• Experience with strength & conditioning, Olympic lifting, and movement quality
• Strong people skills - you remember names, follow up on injuries, and show up for your members
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire both clients and peers
• A genuine care for community, and a desire to help others grow in and beyond the gym
• Experience in delivering fitness, nutrition and healthy habit challenges
• Nutrition experience/qualifications preferred

You'll work closely with Tom and the Flow team to grow your skillset, your leadership, and your career. This role has clear progression opportunities from Senior Coach → Head Coach.
