Due to strong continued growth and numerous contract wins, we are now seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to support and facilitate the growth of our Trades & Mining Division. This role is ideal for an experienced Recruiter/Business Development Manager who prides themselves with delivering only the best service to their clients. This is a hands-on position, integrating with our existing divisions and utilising the provided resources to allow for exponential growth. Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Growing the division by providing an end to end recruitment, sales and sourcing capabilities.
  • Roles you will be recruiting for include (White & Blue Collar roles) Project Managers, Engineers (Various), Heavy Duty Fitters, Auto Electricians, Power Station Operators, Drillers, Offsiders, Scaffolders, Mechanical Fitters, Supervisors, Deckhands etc…
  • You will be responsible for preparing, writing and placing advertisements with appropriate job boards and social media. Specifically targeted to the Traces and Mining Industry.
  • Candidate screening, interviews, references, interview confirmations with clients & ongoing candidate care.
  • Candidate pooling and market research to identify where the candidates are and what their expectations consist of.
  • Assisting the division in preparing candidates to be reverse marketed to our existing and new clients.
  • Ensuring our internal database is kept up to date and necessary notes and comments are added.
  • Travelling to sites (Perth & Remote) with the Managing Director conducting site inspections, OH&S inspections etc…
  • Ensuring that you establish a second to none working relationship with candidates and clients alike.

To be considered for this role you will have the following skills & attributes:

  • Previous recruitment experience, preferably within the Trades & Mining industry
  • Be highly organised and task oriented
  • Show initiative and the ability to complete tasks autonomously and make decisions
  • Have a strong work ethic and excellent morals and ethics towards dealing with people
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
