About Avocado

Avocado Consulting delivers IT change and transformation for Australia's largest companies and Government agencies. We have an extensive history of delivering high profile solutions and we offer IT services across the entire delivery pipeline throughout every stage of the project life-cycle.

Due to an increase in projects from our clients, we're looking to expand our Talent Acquisition team to further enhance our talent sourcing capabilities.

About the Role

  • Partnering with our internal hiring managers - taking briefings, gauging position requirements, and advising them on market activity to manage their expectations.
  • Sourcing high-level technical candidates for a combination of internal and external roles; primarily within software engineering, test analytics and cyber security.
  • Analysing resource capabilities and accordingly advising hiring managers on consultant profiles.
  • Scheduling interviews and managing onboarding process for internal & external hires.
  • Assisting with hiring offshore candidates for niche requirements e.g. Splunk engineers, Dynatrace consultants, Pen Testers etc.

About You

  • Preferably 1-2 years' experience in either agency or internal.
  • Basic functional knowledge across a broad range of tools/systems (no hands-on skills required).
  • Knowledge of Boolean searching, X-Ray searching, LinkedIn, GitHub or GitLab would be an advantage (but not essential).
