Production Line Worker

Job Summary

Better Choice Fisheries is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Production Line Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the production process by efficiently performing various tasks on the assembly line, ensuring quality standards are met, and adhering to all safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure smooth manufacturing operations and meet production quotas.
  • Feed raw materials and components into production machines.
  • Assemble goods and products on the production line, using hand-held tools and other equipment as needed.
  • Conduct basic quality and testing checks on finished products and identify faulty items.
  • Pack and label finished goods for shipment and manage raw material and product inventory.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on production machinery and the overall work area.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Follow all company health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
  • Report any machinery faults, safety issues, or quality concerns to supervisors.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
  • Manual dexterity and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
  • Physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and work weekends or overtime as required.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with quality control standards and safety regulations is a plus.
