The role

We are seeking Casual Nursing Allocations / Roster Consultant's to join our team at Alliance Nursing in Woolloongabba, Queensland. This is a casual position, offering flexibility in your working hours. With this role, you will play a key role in supporting our nursing team and ensuring they are scheduled effectively to meet the needs of our clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the daily allocation of nursing staff to client sites and shifts
  • Maintain up-to-date records of nursing staff availability, skills and qualifications
  • Communicate with nursing staff to coordinate shift coverage and respond to last-minute changes
  • Liaise with clients to understand their staffing requirements and ensure appropriate nurses are assigned
  • Identify and resolve any staffing issues or concerns in a timely manner
  • Support the nursing team with general administrative tasks as needed

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer service, call centre or rostering role, preferably within the healthcare or nursing sector
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and nursing staff
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software, including rostering and scheduling tools
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and requirements related to nursing staffing
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to respond quickly to changing priorities
