Help our nurses reach the communities that need them most
Working at Affinity means every itinerary you build turns into on-the-ground care for patients in regional, rural and remote Australia. We are a high-volume, high-quality healthcare staffing provider where relationships, transparency, impact and excellence guide every decision.
This is a fast-paced role: every trip and stay you arrange supports a confirmed clinical contract. You will partner closely with internal teams to deliver safe, seamless journeys so clinicians arrive on time, rested and ready.
Your typical day
· Lock in flights, ferries, coaches and accommodation across multiple time zones, considering first-shift and commencement details so every placement starts strong
· Coordinate contract dates with property allocations, matching rooms to who has a car (can stay further out) and who needs walking-distance or easy public transport
· Resolve property maintenance or access issues, maximising room availability and candidate satisfaction
· Field real-time questions from candidates and facilities - keeping communication clear, and solution-focused
· Re-shuffle plans when an urgent booking drops in (it happens) – prioritise critical tasks and keep everyone informed
· Share the after-hours phone on a rotating basis so support continues 24/7
· Fridays mean volume: you will power through a surge of bookings to set nurses up for Monday starts
How you will approach tasks
· Conflicting needs? Balance contract dates, transport access and budget to land the best overall plan
· Last-minute changes? Re-sequence bookings, leverage property inventory, and escalate early to avoid delays
· Limited local options? Get creative - combine nearby towns, car-share, or short-term swaps to ensure safe, compliant solutions
· Multiple stakeholders? Keep candidates, facilities and internal teams aligned with updates and clear handovers
About you
· You live our values - relationships first, be transparent, be impactful, strive for excellence - and you love that your work directly supports patient care
· You thrive at pace: high attention to detail in a compliance-driven, high-volume environment
· You will revel in becoming the subject matter expert for our internal team and our external customers
· You are a proactive communicator who spots issues early and solves them promptly
· Experience in travel logistics, accommodation booking, property management or concierge is highly regarded
Why Affinity
For 20+ years, Affinity has connected skilled healthcare professionals with roles across regional, rural and remote Australia - and we are proud that many nurses and clients have partnered with us for decades thanks to our personal touch and commitment to quality.
What we offer
· Hybrid flexibility: up to two WFH days per week
· Competitive salary and room to grow
· Ongoing development: leadership program, mentee led mentorship and structured training
· A supportive, fun, collaborative team
· Pet-friendly office - apply to bring your doggo to work
· Active social club with quarterly celebrations and company events
