About the Role

We're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Drafter to join our design team. You'll play a key role in translating architectural concepts into build-ready documentation, ensuring every plan meets the highest standards of quality, compliance, and creativity.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation packages using ArchiCAD, Revit, or AutoCAD
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project teams to bring designs to life
  • Researching materials and detailing solutions that elevate our builds
  • Understanding encumbrance and planning guidelines
  • Ensuring compliance with the National Construction Code and relevant standards
  • Managing your workflow to meet deadlines without compromising quality

Who We Are Looking For

You're precise, proactive, and passionate about residential design. You bring:

  • A Bachelor of Architectural Design / Master of Architecture (or equivalent)
  • 2–4 years' post-graduate experience in an Australian architectural or residential building business
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of Australian building codes and standards
  • Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and produce high-quality documentation
  • Proficiency in drafting software (ArchiCAD, Revit)

Please note: This role requires post-graduate experience in residential architecture and is not suitable for mechanical engineers or recent graduates.
