Role Responsibilities:

As a Business Development Specialist, you will be at the forefront of driving the company's growth and success. In this dynamic role, you'll uncover new market opportunities, forge valuable strategic partnerships and craft innovative sales strategies. Working collaboratively with internal departments, you'll ensure alignment with business goals and play a key part in executing growth initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Market Development: Identify and secure opportunities across Hotel, Developer and Commercial (strategic partnership) sectors
  • Lead Generation: Use proactive outreach and networking to build a strong pipeline, supported by internal appointment setters
  • Client Engagement: Conduct face-to-face meetings and presentations to deliver tailored signage and branding solutions
  • Relationship Management: Build long-term partnerships with repeat clients and multi-site programs
  • Collaboration: Work closely with design, estimating and project delivery teams to ensure successful client outcomes
  • Reporting: Use CRM and performance dashboards to manage leads, track results and measure performance

Role Requirements:

  • Related degree, qualification or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a BDM or similar client-facing role within signage, construction, fit out or related sectors
  • Proven record of generating and securing new business opportunities
  • Proficiency using CRMs and business software systems (HubSpot experience advantageous)
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Highly motivated, team-oriented and goal driven
