Skelcon is on the lookout for a detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to support our growing team.

Based at our Newcastle office, you'll work closely with two senior project managers on a variety of commercial projects.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Subcontractor Tendering & Coordination: Assess project plans and prepare scope of works to send out to subcontractors. Manage responses and assist in subcontractor selection.

  • Contract Administration: Draft subcontracts and purchase orders for contractors and suppliers. Support procurement across multiple projects.

  • Documentation Control: Maintain project documentation including plans, specification, project folder, contracts, purchase orders, etc. Ensuring everything is in order and compliant.

  • Subcontractor Safety: Collate and manage Safe Work Method Statements and similar documentation for current running projects. Track and file documentation as required.

  • Material Procurement: Assist with ordering and tracking construction materials. Liaise with suppliers to meet site timelines.

It would be great if you have:

  • Experience using Procore and/or Cubit (not essential)

  • A construction management qualification (completed or in progress)

  • A good understanding of the construction industry

  • A valid driver's licence

  • Capable of using Office 360 suite including Excel, Word, and Microsoft Project.

  • Work Health & Safety general construction induction card.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time management skills.

This is a full-time, office-based role with on-site parking and the opportunity to be part of a collaborative and experienced team.
