About the opportunity

In this position you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the designated program in the school
  • Coordinate the work of staff engaged in the designated program in keeping with the values and ethos of the school
  • Regularly communicate with stakeholders (students, parents, school staff and other personnel) to ensure the smooth operation of the program
  • Manage financial and material resources within the area of responsibility including formulating budgets and expending allocated funds
  • Organise program activities including resources, transport, operations, staff, etc.

About you

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:

  • Hands-on leadership and program management experience in which you have helped coordinate a designated program
  • Ability to work confidently and collaboratively with staff, aligning with a school's values and ethos
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, staff, and external stakeholders
  • Financial management experience, including budgeting and resource allocation
  • Organisational skills to help manage program logistics
  • Hold, or be eligible to hold, registration as a teacher in Queensland.

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
  • Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).
