We are looking for a casual accountant to join our Ormeau office.

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in public practice
  • Must be Australian Citizen
  • Confident working with Xero and cloud-based systems
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
  • Available 2–3 days per week (flexible hours)

Why AK Tax and Advisory? We're not your typical accounting firm. We provide personalised services to small businesses based in Gold Coast and Brisbane. Initially we would prefer working from our Ormeau office and then we can implement a hybrid model for the right candidate.

Your role will include:

  • Preparing tax returns and financial statements
  • Supporting client queries with professionalism and care
  • Collaborating with our director

Location: Ormeau, QLD

Start Date: Immediate

Remuneration: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience
