The Category Buying and Planning teams work closely to drive sales, maximise profit, and deliver on-trend ranges that excite our customers.As the Senior Category Buyer - Women's Designer, you'll help shape strategy, support budget planning, and drive sales growth in line with THE ICONIC's commercial vision.What You'll Do:Drive Strategy: Work with our Planning team to develop and execute winning category strategies across wholesale and platform.Spot Trends: Analyse sales data and market trends to keep our product offering fresh, exciting, and competitive.Own the Numbers: Manage budgets, vendor contracts, and financial targets like a pro.Build Relationships: Nurture long-term partnerships with key suppliers and negotiate for the best deals.Lead & Inspire: Mentor assistant buyers and help develop the next generation of buying talent.Collaborate: Work cross-functionally with Product, Creative, Marketing, and Sustainability teams to deliver seamless customer experiences and achieve shared goals.What You'll Own:Budget allocation for product procurement.Selection and onboarding of new brands.Key financial terms for vendor contracts.Demand/inventory management to hit targets.Recruitment and development of your team.What We're Looking For:Experience: 5+ years in buying, with a proven track record of driving sales and growth in your categorySkills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
