About the business and the role:

The company is based in Henderson due to strong growth and increasing business opportunities, we are looking for an experienced Mobilisation and Operations Manager to join the highly talented and growing team.

Reporting to the National Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the office, its functions, processes, and procedures run smoothly and efficiently on a daily basis. You will provide mobilisation, on-boarding and administrative support and will be responsible for:

  • Update and maintain all employee details in both internal and client systems.
  • Monitor training records and ensure staff maintain current accreditations.
  • Prepare accurate and timely contract/quotations for the companies diverse mining clients.
  • Coordinate an organised and streamlined onboarding process of all new starters.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of mobilisation or workforce coordination experience is required.
  • Ensure travelling personnel are all site compliant by verifying the required documentation including first aid, medicals, training, and inductions.
  • Understand and adhere to the specific site and client mobilisation processes.
  • Experience in the mining, resources or energy industry is preferred.
  • Ensure site and client mobilisation processes and travel information are communicated effectively to travelling personnel.
  • · Keep an open and cooperative dialogue with the client regarding mobilisation requirements and updates.
  • Arrange site specific training if required.
  • Manage procurement including requirements for field staff, including PPE and field consumables.
  • Managing site staff and guiding the team, ensuring everyone is aligned with the operations team goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and industry contacts by providing consistent communication and high-quality service.
  • Australian work rights are essential and must be held at the time of application.
