The role

We need a Delivery Driver in Newcastle for an immediate start. You will transport goods, load/unload trucks, do warehousing duties and maintain the delivery vehicle. We want someone passionate about what they do and eager to grow within the company. Potential career opportunities in the food industry.

We're looking for someone who….

  • Is reliable and punctual with a 'can do' attitude;
  • Has excellent time management skills;
  • Can work independently as well as in a team environment;
  • Is physically fit and capable of loading trucks;
  • Is not afraid of long hours and hard work;
  • Is a good communicator and can be the face of our business on the road; and
  • Understands the importance of safety.
  • MUST be available on Saturday's and the Christmas / New Year's period

Please note the following essential criteria for this role:

  • Ability to work flexible hours Monday to Saturday
  • Current MR Truck Licence
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening

Delivery driving experience (multi-drop delivery) and a forklift licence are beneficial but not essential.
