We're looking for an
Service Technician Electrical
to join our events team in our
Brisbane
Depot, servicing QLD and traveling across AUSPAC/APAC. As a Service Technician Electrical supporting the Events sector, you will deliver on major projects across the country, carry out planned maintenance and repair programs to ensure reliable and safe operation of our assets at events. You will install, monitor, and remove temporary power installations for a variety of events, providing technical support to keep events powered and running smoothly.

What You'll Do

  • Install, watch-keep, and remove temporary power installations for events such as festivals, concerts, sports, and corporate gatherings.
  • Perform routine electrical servicing, fault finding, and repairs on generators, distribution, HVAC and battery systems.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities and conduct safety inspections in line with Aggreko standards.
  • Provide first-level technical advice and customer support during equipment failures.
  • Prepare equipment and materials in the depot prior to deployment, including inspection, testing, and ensuring all necessary tools and spares are ready for event assignments.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.

Travel Requirements

  • Willingness to travel extensively across all Australian regions and working in diverse environments, supporting major events across multiple locations.
  • Typical travel assignments can last up to 4-6 weeks at a time, requiring flexibility and readiness to work on-site for the duration of events.

To thrive in this role, you'll have the following skills and experience:

  • Qualified Electrician with a QLD A Grade Electrical License.
  • Valid Driver's License (MR Truck and Forklift licenses advantageous).
  • Computer literate and able to troubleshoot electrical equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage depot preparation and fieldwork efficiently.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and be away from home for up to 4 weeks at a time.
