The Package: $ $49.83 gross per hour + 12% super. (Evaluated as Grade 8 of the QPRC Salary System 2024) and a guaranteed increase of 3% in , plus potential performance-based progression.

In this role you will:

  • Feed and care for animals housed in the Animal Management Facility.
  • Identify health issues, injuries, or illnesses in animals and treat or medicate as needed.
  • Ensure the facilities are clean and well-maintained, creating a healthy and disease-free environment for our animals.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in handling cats and dogs of various sizes and temperaments.
  • Possesses the knowledge to recognise animal health and behavioural issues.
  • Has capacity to deliver a high level of customer service.
