SAP S/4 Finance Lead

Contract: 12 Months + extensions

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance Lead with strong S/4HANA implementation expertise to join a large-scale, multi-year transformation program. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping, designing, and delivering the Finance workstream within the S/4HANA landscape, ensuring alignment with business objectives and program strategy.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a critical component of a high-profile S/4HANA implementation, working alongside senior stakeholders, business leads, and technical teams to deliver best-in-class finance capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the SAP Finance (FI/CO) workstream within the S/4HANA implementation program.
  • Drive the design, build, and deployment of SAP Finance solutions, ensuring alignment with global process and system standards.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and validate functional requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance on S/4HANA Finance capabilities, including new functionalities such as Universal Journal, Central Finance, Group Reporting, and embedded analytics.
  • Oversee and support integration points between Finance and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP, PS).
Key Skills & Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in SAP Finance (FI/CO) with multiple full lifecycle implementations.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, ideally including Greenfield or Brownfield transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of Finance business processes (GL, AP, AR, AA, Controlling, Cost Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, etc.).
  • Deep knowledge of S/4HANA innovations - Universal Journal, Fiori apps, Central Finance, and embedded reporting.
  • Experience leading finance design workshops and managing stakeholder expectations at a senior level.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
