
Finance Administration Officer

About the role:
We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our Administration team on a maternity leave contract. This part-time role (2–3 days per week) runs from October 2025 to July 2026 and offers flexibility with WFH options. You'll support the day-to-day financial operations of the firm and work closely with the Operations Manager and Finance Leader.
What you'll do:
- Manage accounts payable and assist with payroll processing
- Prepare and lodge BAS & IAS
· Oversee debtor follow-ups and debt collection
- Maintain the company trust account
- Prepare and submit client software subscription billing
- Provide high-level client service and communication
What you'll bring:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in office administration
- Experience and knowledge of MYOB & Xero software
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent mathematical and conceptual skills
- Strong multitasker with great attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- Confident communicator with a professional, proactive attitude
- Comfortable working independently and across teams
