At SIERA, our Building & Engineering Technicians are hands-on technical contributors who help keep our sites safe, productive and on programme.The opportunity You'll bridge the gap between trade execution and site management: translating drawings and specs into quality outcomes, coordinating trades and materials, and maintaining site readiness across construction stages.Key responsibilities· Interpret drawings, specs and method statements; assist with sequencing and site setup.· Coordinate trades, suppliers and labour to maintain flow and prevent delays.· Carry out skilled/semi-skilled tasks (e.g., trade setup, minor structural prep, materials logistics, housekeeping, protection of finishes).· Undertake basic measurements, quality checks and defect follow-up; keep accurate site records.· Operate EWPs/telehandlers/hoists/forklifts where licensed and required.· Lead safe work: SWMS checks, PPE compliance, hazard ID and toolbox participation.· Support Procore/Hammertech entries, registers and daily diary notes.About you· Proven experience in a construction Leading Hand / Building & Engineering Technician–style role (or similar).· Strong practical understanding of construction methodology, sequencing and quality standards.· Confident reading drawings; focused on safety, quality and programme.· Organised communicator who can coordinate multiple trades and keep momentum.· Current driver's licence; relevant plant tickets/licences (desirable).What we offer· Competitive salary (>$100,000 + super) and stable full-time role.· Opportunity to lead from the front on high-quality projects.· Professional, values-driven team culture with clear standards.Job Type: Full-timePay: $100,000.00 – $110,000.00 per yearWork Authorisation:Australia (Preferred)Work Location: In person
