Sterling Parts Australia is an established, national automotive parts distributor with distribution centres in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. What's involved?

You will be the 'brains' to help analyse data and support management and business decisions. This may include identifying revenue growth opportunities and identifying market trends and breaking down inventory movements. Some key responsibilities include:

  • Analyse trade, online and other channel data, creating revenue-driving recommendations in collaboration with the broader team
  • Recommend solutions that enhance effectiveness across teams
  • Researching, evaluating and reporting on up to date market trends and opportunities
  • Collaborating with teams within the organisation to ensure best outcomes, particularly for sales and profit targets
  • Collaborating with leads in other branches to achieve broader organisational objectives

What are we looking for?

You will be a highly details oriented and methodical data professional who is able to interpret facts and figures and translate that into a story which is fit for purpose for our industry. You will want to make a positive impact, leave your mark on the business and take pride in the quality of your work. The qualities which we are particularly looking for include:

  • Proven experience in data analysis and evaluation role
  • Highly organised and details driven professional
  • An excellent data driven storyteller
  • A growth focused mindset who is always seeking new learning opportunities and growth
  • Experience in the automotive and related supply chain industry
  • Experience in consulting industry
