Dyers Distribution is a family-owned company who have been providing quality logistics services since We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team of dedicated professionals. Based at our AQIS accredited Temperature Controlled Derrimut food grade facility, the position is full time dayshift. Excellent wage and conditions are available to the successful applicant. The role will be 5 days a week, Monday to Friday starting from 5:00 am.

This role would be ideally suited to an ambitious and energetic person with experience ideally in the FMCG field. The role is an integral part of a small team plus container crews.  The task involves storage and distribution of ambient and refrigerated, domestic and international products.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor your duties will include:

· Working with a small team including container crews

· Ensuring import and export requirements are met for the task

· Timely loading and unloading of containers, pans and tautliners

· Put away and picking of full pallets into / out of temperature-controlled racking

· Working in a temperature controlled environment.

· Site cleanliness

· Conducting inventory and cycle counts.

· Manual restacking / layer picking of pallets with heavy cartons when required

· Administration duties including pick sheets, consignment notes and utilising WMS.

· Ensuring all company policies and procedures are followed, including participating in safety meetings and Toolbox talks.

Preferred skills and qualifications

· Forklift licence (LT) with reach truck (RT) experience (up to 5 bays) in warehouse or distribution operations.

· Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy of inventory locations and recording of all stock movements in / out

· Strong verbal and written communications skills

· Temperature controlled experience.

· Warehouse (RF) scanning experience

· Able to work in chilled and frozen environments
