Little Zak's Academy is a privately owned, family-run early learning service committed to delivering high-quality care and education in a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment. We are seeking an experienced Preschool Room Leader to join our Strathfield team. You'll lead and mentor educators, delivering engaging learning programs while supporting the Centre Director in achieving an exceeding-rated service.

Your role

  • Lead and mentor a team of educators to deliver high-quality learning programs
  • Oversee planning, curriculum, and outcomes for each child in your room
  • Ensure documentation is meaningful, accessible, and compliant with regulations
  • Build a warm, inclusive, stimulating, and safe learning environment
  • Maintain strong relationships with families and team members
  • Ensure high standards of health, safety, and regulatory compliance

About you

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (ACECQA-approved)
  • Previous Room Leader experience is highly advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and National Regulations
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and digital communication skills
  • Current Working With Children Check
  • Current First Aid/CPR, Asthma, Anaphylaxis, and Child Protection training (or willingness to obtain)
  • Unrestricted full-time working rights in Australia
