Your Opportunity
We are excited to be recruiting for a
Community Engagement Officer
to join our team in Western Queensland, based at TAFE Queensland's Charleville Campus .

The position is available on a temporary part-time basis (0.5 FTE) until 30 June 2026, unless otherwise determined.

As the Community Engagement Officer, you will act as a primary point of contact at the local campus and within the regional community by connecting the broader regional community to training opportunities at TAFE Queensland and provide a wide range of administrative and support services to clients and delivery teams aligned to the Western Queensland region.

This position reports to the Western Queensland Manager.

Salary
The salary range for this part-time position at the AO4 classification is
$44,570 - $49,440 (gross) per annum.
Please note: This salary is based on a part-time workload of 36 hours and 15 minutes per fortnight.

Highly Desirable
Candidates who possess the following will be highly regarded:

  • Demonstrated connections within the Charleville/Murweh community across different sectors.
  • Possession of a Certificate III in Business.
  • Experience using a range of software systems, preferably for student administration management and customer service.
