
Community Liaison Specialist

As a Community Liaison Specialist, you will be instrumental in fostering strong relationships between the local community and law enforcement agencies. Your primary responsibility will be to develop trust with diverse communities, understand their needs, and break down cultural barriers.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to organisational understanding of multicultural and multifaith communities.
- Advise police officers on cultural sensitivity when interacting with community members.
- Work with law enforcement members to identify opportunities for community engagement and develop culturally appropriate crime prevention strategies.
- Assist community members in accessing policing services and provide guidance on referrals to other community services where necessary.
- Engage with community groups to identify and build programs promoting community safety.
- Establish partnerships with key stakeholders across law enforcement, community, and government agencies to support community-based initiatives.
This role involves operating official vehicles and requires a valid driver's licence. You must also adhere to the standard dress code and professional conduct expectations.
