About the role

Hamilton House is seeking an Educator/ Lead Educator for a small, boutique childcare centre to join our dedicated team in Hamilton, QLD. This role will see you providing high-quality early childhood education and care to our young learners, ensuring they receive the best possible start to their educational journey.

What you'll be doing

  • Planning and delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate educational programs for children a
  • Observing and assessing children's progress, and using this information to tailor learning experiences
  • Building strong relationships with children and their families, providing regular updates and feedback
  • Maintaining a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment
  • Collaborating with the wider early education team to contribute to the continuous improvement of our service
  • Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for

  • studying Cert III or diploma qualification or above
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver high-quality, play-based learning programs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships
  • Genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to supporting children's development
  • Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)
  • First Aid qualification, including CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma management
