Founded in 2004, Craig Burgess Motor Group is an award winning, family-owned automotive retail group operating across four dealerships in South East QLD.

The Role

We are looking an experienced and dynamic Used Car Manager who can lead and motivate a successful team. If you have a history of achieving impressive sales targets and a history of managing a team of  sales professionals across new and used car departments, this could be the role for you

  • Providing leadership, direction, and training to the retail sales team
  • Align all activity to providing an exemplary customer experience in line with manufacturers objectives
  • Align the retail sales department to manufacturers brand standards
  • Daily / monthly sales team performance management
  • Maximise all sales opportunities to meet & exceed sales targets & budgets
  • Develop strategies, campaigns and events to optimise market share.
  • Regular reporting of department & individual sales performance
  • Assist the sales team with all sales enquiries including double-opening and double-closing all customers that choose to visit our business
  • LDV brand experience is beneficial but not essential

Selection Criteria

  • Strong understanding of the automotive industry, with Used car experience
  • Extensive experience in a sales role, with a proven sales record in meeting sales targets
  • Ability to profile customer needs and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders resulting in sales
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Results driven, ambitious & hardworking
  • Strong understanding of the online vehicle sales environment
  • Sound knowledge of marketing & electronic media
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communicator,
  • Able to work well under pressure and manage conflicting priorities effectively
  • Current valid manual driver's license
  • Current QLD Motor Vehicle Sales Licence
