About the Role

As a Youth Disability Team Leader, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality support to young people with complex needs in 24/7 residential placements. You'll lead a team of Youth Disability Workers, ensuring safe, nurturing environments that promote independence and wellbeing.

You'll collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, manage operational compliance, and foster a culture of empowerment and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support staff in delivering trauma-informed, person-centred care
  • Manage rostering, performance, and team development across 24/7 SIL placements
  • Act as a key escalation point for complex service delivery matters
  • Build strong relationships with young people, families, and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS, child safety, and organisational policies
  • Promote a positive team culture and drive continuous improvement

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in case management and/or leadership roles
  • Bachelor-level qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and disability support frameworks
  • Experience managing multi-site or after-hours care services
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
