The Role

We are working with a top-tier global law firm to source an experienced front-end construction lawyer to join their national Construction team. With significant investment in major infrastructure and energy projects across Australia, this is an opportunity to work on high-profile transactions spanning project development, delivery and advisory.

The Team

The firm's construction practice is recognised for its strength in complex infrastructure, energy, transport, renewables, and commercial development projects. Lawyers work closely with a diverse client base, including property developers, government entities, contractors, and consultants, delivering strategic legal solutions across all phases of project lifecycles.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • 4–5 years' post-admission experience in front-end construction law
  • Experience advising on major projects, including EPC and D&C contracts
  • Familiarity with PPPs, renewable energy and infrastructure transactions is highly regarded
  • Excellent drafting and commercial negotiation skills
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to client service
  • The ability to work effectively across teams and jurisdictions
