The Role

We are seeking a talented Front-End / Projects Senior Associate to join a highly regarded Procurement team in Sydney. You will be working closely with a senior partner on some of the country's most complex and strategic procurement and project transactions, advising major clients across a range of industry sectors.

The role will see you advising on and drafting a wide variety of project structures and contract forms, including:

  • Public-Private Partnerships (PPP)
  • Design & Construct (D&C) contracts (with and without ECI elements)
  • Managing Contractor contracts
  • Services Agreements
  • Australian Standard and other industry forms of contract
  • Alliance contracts
  • Access agreements
  • Other contracting models used in the construction and infrastructure industry

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a lawyer with:

  • 4+ years' post-admission experience in front-end projects and procurement law
  • Experience advising in one or more of the construction, infrastructure, energy, or transport sectors
  • Strong drafting, technical, and communication skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with commercial acumen
  • Leadership, mentoring, and management abilities to support junior lawyers
  • A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for teamwork
