Associate - Construction, Infrastructure & Projects

JS Careers are pleased to be assisting a leading global firm with a strong national and international presence on the search for an Associate or Senior Associate to join the firm's thriving Construction & Infrastructure team. This role offers the chance to work on some of the largest and most complex energy and infrastructure projects across Australia.
The Role
In this role, you will advise major developers, contractors, and government clients on high-profile front-end matters in the construction and energy sectors. Your work will span project management, strategic advisory, and risk mitigation while also collaborating with colleagues across Australia and Asia. Additionally, you will also be involved in:
- Leading or managing key work streams on large infrastructure and energy projects;
- Advising on contract drafting, negotiation, and procurement strategy;
- Supporting cross-border collaboration and client development; and
- Participating in proposals and tender submissions.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
- At least 4 years PQE, with strong front-end construction experience either in Australia or other Commonwealth jurisdictions;
- Expertise in complex transactions, ideally including PPPs and major infrastructure;
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills;
- Commercial mindset and confidence managing client relationships; and
- Passion for innovation and contributing to a collaborative team culture.
