Join Metro South Health as a Senior Health Funding Analyst, where you'll provide high-level analysis, reporting and insights that directly influence Activity Based Funding (ABF), service planning and organisational performance. About Your Role
In this role, you will deliver high-quality analysis and reporting to support Activity Based Funding, performance improvement and informed decision-making across Metro South Health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate activity information to support service planning and activity management.
  • Develop complex reports and queries across large datasets using contemporary reporting tools.
  • Analyse and interpret data for benchmarking, utilisation studies and Health Round Table initiatives.
  • Develop and monitor WAU targets and manage DSS Panorama reporting for KPIs.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and support users of activity data through training and guidance.

About You
You are an experienced analyst with strong technical capability, excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to delivering quality insights.

You Will Have

  • Expertise in funding classifications and strong knowledge of clinical/financial reporting systems.
  • Proven ability to extract, analyse and interpret large and complex datasets.
  • Experience producing high-quality reports, submissions and complex documentation.
  • Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work effectively in a team.
  • Skills or experience in hospital funding (highly desirable).
