Client Relations Officer

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and client-focused Client Relations Coordinator to join our growing residential construction team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a minimum 2 years of industry experience who is looking to build a well-rounded career in client relationship management.

The successful candidate will support our team in liaising with customers throughout the selections process, preparing cost summaries and documentation for a variety of residential projects—playing a key role in maintaining strong communication and trust with our clients throughout their building journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Support
  • Selections Support & Guidance
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients during the pre-construction and mid-construction phases
  • Help manage client expectations and communicate updates regarding estimates, project timelines, and selections in particular
  • Assist with coordinating client meetings, walkthroughs, and documentation
  • Ensure a smooth and professional client experience by handling queries promptly and professionally
  • Support the handover process and maintain ongoing communication to ensure client satisfaction
  • Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for residential construction projects
  • Read and interpret architectural and engineering plans with support from estimators
  • Help source and organise quotes from subcontractors and suppliers
  • Support the comparison and analysis of pricing information
  • Maintain and update estimating records and systems (eg. purchase orders)
  • Collaborate with project managers, site staff, and the estimating team to support project planning and execution

Requirements

  • Some experience or exposure to the customer support industry (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset
  • Familiarity with reading construction drawings and plans
  • High attention to detail and eagerness to learn
  • Strong organisational skills and time management
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with estimating software (e.g., Databuild, OnSite) is a bonus but not essential
  • Qualifications (completed or in progress) in construction, building, or a related field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
