**What is the Role?**

We have an opening for a Junior officer 3 days a week, Monday to Wednesday to assist the payroll team with processing payrolls this roles has the possibility of additional days in the future.

You will be part of the Outsourced Payroll team, assisting the payroll officers and will be responsible for the end process of completing the payrolls, running the reports and communicating with customers directly.

You will be processing the final payroll reports and providing high level of customer service.
- You will be trained to use the ClockOn suite of products.
- Once trained you will be responsible for communicating with the customers directly on their final payroll process and providing reports.
- You will manage customer expectations and deliver consistent outcomes.
- On boarding of new clients
- Monthly reporting and reconciliation of Super
- This role has the opportunity to become a payroll officer processing payrolls from end to end.

**What will you be expected to do?**
- data entry of new employees to record payroll data
- maintaining and update files for existing employees to record information such as employee contact details, leave taken, overtime, promotions, transfers, tax deductions, health insurance payments and superannuation
- preparing payroll data (data entry) to get the payroll ready for processing
- issuing and recording adjustments to employees' pay
- interpret awards and the setup of them in ClockOn
- finalizing payroll and sending reports
- may be in involved in maintaining superannuation and other deduction and contribution records
- End-of-Financial-Year processing and reporting
- Provide support to our implementation and product support team when required

**Job description**
- Has processed or assisted in processing Payroll, not essential but will be an advantage
- Data entry and maintaining customer data with strong attention to detail
- Takes responsibility for their work and can show how they have delivered tasks on time
- Has the ability to manage competing priorities and customer expectations with attention to detail
- Has the ability to work in an effective and collaborative manner with customer and ClockOn team members
- Can provide personable communication skills to ensure positive outcomes, relating to customers' requests and concerns at a senior level
- Has general knowledge of Awards and EBA’s and the interpretation of them
- Running reports and reconciliation

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22.8 per week
