Senior Policy, Program and Delivery Officer

- Located in Parramatta with hybrid working from home arrangements available (50% office attendance required).
- Clerk Grade 9/10 with salary ranging from $129,464 p.a. to $142,665 p.a. + super and annual leave loading

About the role
The Senior Policy, Program and Delivery Officer Workforce Experience manages and coordinates the development and implementation of a range of programs, projects and polices as well as providing analysis and advice that support organisational objectives and Government commitments.
This role is based in the Workforce Programs and Initiatives branch of the Early Childhood Outcomes division. It contributes to the design and delivery of early childhood education and care (ECEC) workforce initiatives and programs such as scholarships and professional learning that aim to attract, retain and uplift the capability of ECEC professionals (the ECEC workforce).

About you
A results driven team member who thrives in time-sensitive environments with knowledge and experience related to contract, program and project management that includes complex stakeholder relationship management.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Proven experience in evidence-based program design, development and implementation.
- Ability to source, interpret and apply research and data to inform policy development and decisions
- Performance management experience for complex programs and projects.
- A collaborative and curious approach to build effective relationships across a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong written communication skills demonstrated through the ability to draft briefs, executive reports and prepare presentations.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure
- A commitment to public value and delivering outcomes that support community needs
- Willingness to mentor and guide policy and project offices to support career growth, enhance performance and ensure compliance with program governance and quality requirements.
Essential requirements of the role
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and/or experience.
- A valid Working with Children Check for paid employment.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
Key knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
- Complex contract, project or program management
