Director Treasury Governance and Business Management

As the Director of Treasury Governance and Business Management, you will support Group Treasury to manage its business and non-financial risks. This includes in the areas of operational, compliance and conduct risk; governance; change management and data risk.

• Represent NAB's Treasury team in various forums and working groups across the bank.
• Have the initiative and drive to build capability across all facets of the role.
• You will be instrumental in shaping and managing how we respond to data risk, business change, business continuity, amongst other areas.

As a Director of Treasury Governance and Business Management, you will join the Treasury team that's focused on winning together.

In This Director Role, You Will

• Lead Business Continuity Management across Group Treasury.
• Lead compliance with the Data Risk Management Framework in Group Treasury.
• Lead change management in Group Treasury. This includes supporting business development, implementation of strategic initiatives and/or regulatory changes. Covering both Treasury initiated change and changes arising across the bank that impact Group Treasury.
• Business management and compliance support across Group Treasury, focused on non-prudential obligations and providing Front Office support. This includes maintaining and/or developing Treasury operating procedures and frameworks (e.g. Front Office Supervision procedures) to ensure compliance and facilitate business operations; providing compliance training; amongst other tasks.
• Support with internal and external audit or regulatory reviews or information requests for Group Treasury.
• Mentor and coach junior members of the team.

What You Will Bring

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey expectations and influence to achieve improved outcomes.
• Experience managing non-financial risks in a Financial Institution. This may include in the areas of data risk, governance, compliance, conduct and operational risk (including business continuity).
• Understanding of change management disciplines and experience managing complex change.
• Proven ability to work in ambiguous environments, apply a practical approach to resolving issues and be adaptable to change.
• Comfortable operating at both a strategic level and in day-to-day operational execution.
• Substantial years of Treasury, Financial Markets, Finance or Risk experience.
• Be degree qualified, with a preference for CFA, Master of Finance, CA or CPA completed.
