About the Role

Reporting to the National General Manager – Building Services, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the well-being of our people, maintaining compliance with our certified management systems, and fostering a proactive safety culture across all projects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular site inspections and working closely with project teams to ensure compliance with our third-party accredited Integrated Management System (ISO45001, ISO9001, ISO14001, and OFSC).
  • Leading and supporting site teams in managing safety and environmental risks.
  • Coordinating and participating in external compliance audits.
  • Managing incident investigations and implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintaining records, systems, and documentation to support ongoing compliance and improvement.
  • Driving engagement and awareness across all levels of the business.

While this is a broad HSEQ role, your strongest capability should be in safety — with a willingness to further develop your skills in quality and environment management.


About You

You'll be someone who takes pride in their work, can confidently engage with site teams, and has the ability to influence and lead by example.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Qualifications in Work Health & Safety (Cert IV or Diploma level).
  • Strong understanding of WHS legislation and systems within the construction industry.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of construction industry HSEQ experience.
  • Experience conducting audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead external audits and manage multi-stakeholder compliance processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence using compliance systems or databases.
  • A collaborative approach and genuine interest in continual learning and improvement.

Experience with ISO systems and/or OFSC accreditation will be highly regarded, but not essential for the right person with a strong safety foundation and the desire to grow.
