DEMEX is recognised as one of Australia's most innovative and trusted demolition companies, and we're looking for a skilled
HSEQ Advisor
to join our growing Safety Team. You'll play a hands-on role in driving health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across diverse demolition and decommissioning projects throughout Australia.

This position offers a mix of site-based and FIFO work across metro and remote projects, backed by a supportive and high-performing team.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Implementing company HSEQ systems and standards across FIFO demolition sites.
  • Developing and maintaining site-specific risk management strategies and documentation.
  • Monitoring, reporting, and analysing HSEQ performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Supporting compliance with legal, client, and internal requirements through audits, training, and documentation.
  • Championing a proactive safety culture that promotes accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For:

  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety (mandatory).
  • 2–3 years' experience in HSEQ advisory roles within demolition, construction, civil, or other high-risk industries.
  • Strong understanding of WHS legislation, environmental laws, and quality management systems.
  • Experience with ISO management systems (9001, 14001,
  • Skilled in risk management, compliance auditing, and incident investigation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
  • Proficient in HSEQ software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
