About the role

The role of the Mobile Home Loan Specialist is to proactively build and maintain relationships with our members by identifying their financial needs and providing them with options on a range of lending products and services.

Reporting to the Mobile Banking Manager, this position will provide personalised service to all existing and potential BCU Bank customers by providing general advice based on individual needs, following our customer service framework.

The ideal candidate will be a capable and proactive lender, with proven skills and experience in business development and networking.

We are seeking candidates based in the Gold Coast and/or Tweed Heads area to service our customers across the region.

What will you bring?
  • Proven experience in a home lending role where you have had to manage the end-to-end lending process and customer experience.
  • Proven history in meeting and exceeding sales and service targets/KPIs
  • Extensive relationships and Business Development skills
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills
  • A strong network of sources to leverage referrals.
  • Proven history in meeting and exceeding sales and service targets/KPIs
  • Strong understanding of banking products, services, and procedures
  • Solid understanding and experience in credit procedures and policies
  • A desire to be an ambassador for the BCU Bank brand.
  • Be open and flexible to before/after hours and weekend work, dependant on borrower's needs, in order to provide service excellence, grow your customer base and manage your pipeline.
