About the role:
- Lead and mentor a small team of investigators managing complaints
- Provide guidance to team members on complaint pathways, case management, and the preparation of high-quality reports.
- Manage team resources, conduct performance reviews, and drive best practice in professional conduct investigations.
- Ensure timely and accurate analysis of complaints, balancing fairness to complainants and solicitors.
The ideal candidate:
- Admitted Solicitor with 7+ years PQE, ideally with strong experience in investigations, regulatory law, or professional conduct matters.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a legal team, with a collaborative and hands-on management style.
- Skilled in evidence gathering, legal analysis, and report preparation for high-level committees or tribunals.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a focus on precision and integrity.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and sensitive matters.
