Assistant Property Manager
to join our Sydney
Industrial
team in a permanent role. Based at the iconic Quay Quarter Tower, the Assistant Property Manager will support the management of industrial assets across NSW and QLD, with occasional travel required. You'll work alongside experienced professionals and outsourced teams to deliver exceptional property and facilities services. Our industrial portfolio is curated to meet the increasing demand for efficient and flexible industrial spaces in Australia. These assets are responsive to our customer needs and strategically located to provide easy access to both existing and new customers.
You will make an impact by:
- Lease & Financial Administration
: Review lease data, manage purchase orders, support budgeting and forecasting, and assist with arrears and rent reviews. - Property & Tenant Coordination
: Liaise with property managers, tenants, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service delivery. - Reporting & Analysis
: Assist in preparing monthly reports, cash flow budgets, and variance analysis in collaboration with finance teams. - Customer Experience
: Build strong tenant relationships, respond to queries, and ensure high service standards through regular site visits and proactive communication. - Operational Support
: Support capital expenditure projects, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with financial and administrative procedures.
About You
You might be an aspiring Assistant Property Manager with a background in Property or Lease Administration, ready to take the next step. Or, you could be an experienced Assistant Property Manager, wanting to work for one of Australia's leading REITs. In either case, you'll bring a strong customer focus, a driven mindset, and the ability to manage competing priorities without compromising on detail.
You will bring:
- Relevant experience in Industrial Property Administration and or Management, including budgeting and financial management.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, customer-focused mindset with outstanding initiative and excellent attention to detail.
- A working knowledge of building services and real estate market activities, developments and trends to assess possible implications on tenancy, financial and physical aspects.
- Strong technology proficiency, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
