We're now seeking a Part Time Diploma-qualified Educator — or someone who's currently working toward their qualification — to join our passionate team and make a real difference in children's lives.

Where you'll work

Mt Waverley Preschool is an expanding service with a long-standing reputation as a quality sessional kindergarten. They offer play-based three-and-four-year-old programs enriched by an expansive, natural outdoor environment and community engagement. We're looking for passionate, collaborative educators who value high quality programming and a supportive team culture.

Role Details:

Diploma Educator

Monday and Wednesday – 8:30am to 4:00pm

14 contact hours + 3.5 non-contact hours = 17.5 hours per week

What You'll Do

In this hands-on, rewarding role, you'll:

  • Support the delivery of engaging, play-based learning programs

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and your teaching team

  • Create safe, inclusive, and nurturing environments that inspire curiosity

  • Collaborate with educators and teachers to deliver high-quality early learning experiences

What You'll Bring

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or actively studying toward it)

  • A strong enthusiasm for working with children and a commitment to ongoing learning

  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)

  • Great teamwork, communication, and organisational skills
