We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable Part Time Lunch Cover Educators to join our team across our network of Y Kindergartens in Victoria. Whether you're an experienced educator, newly qualified, or currently studying your Certificate III or Diploma, this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive, values-driven environment.

Where you'll work

Glendal Kindergarten is a sessional kindergarten in Mount Waverley offering spacious, sunlit indoor and outdoor environments and a vibrant, play-based kindergarten program that champions sustainability and fostering community connections. We're seeking a passionate and collaborative lunch cover educator to join our team.

Role Details:

Certificate III or Diploma Educator

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday – 12:00pm to 2:00pm

6 lunch cover hours per week

What You'll Do

As a Lunch Cover Educator, you'll:

  • Support the teaching team during lunch breaks to maintain a caring, safe environment for all children

  • Assist with daily routines, transitions, and supervision across indoor and outdoor play

  • Engage positively with children, helping create a sense of fun and security

  • Work collaboratively with educators and leaders to uphold the Y's standards of excellence and inclusion

What You'll Bring

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or actively studying toward one of these qualifications)

  • Reliability, warmth, and a team-focused attitude

  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)

  • A genuine love for children and a commitment to learning and professional growth
