We are seeking an experienced Diploma Qualified Educator to join our team.

We are a small, family-focused childcare centre in Mount Waverley seeking a Diploma-qualified Room Leader for our Baby Room (around 1year –up to 2 years).

Your role:


• Plan programs & activities for children's learning and daily routines


• Supervise children and the room assistant


• Keep the environment safe, clean, and nurturing


• Communicate positively with parents, team, and Director


• Write and daily learning stories and routines in Storypark


• Develop individual planning for each child


• Write observations and record each child's progress based on the EYLF


• Prepare yearly summaries and end-of-year reports for each child


• Follow policies & procedures, and be familiar with EYLF & NQS

Requirements:


• Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)


• Minimum 2 years' experience working in childcare (baby room preferred)


• Working With Children Check


• Child Protection Training


• Sleep & Rest Training


• Food Safety & Food Allergen Training


• First Aid & CPR
