Chippendale, New South Wales, Australia Toby's Estate Full time $40,000 - $60,000 per year

Let's start with the story:

Toby's Estate was recently named home of the No.1 Coffee Shop in the World, but the story began in one coffee roaster, Mum's garage, and a bold vision to change how people experienced specialty coffee. Nearly three decades on, we've become one of the most recognisable café brands in Australia, with a growing wholesale footprint and global ambition.

The role:

We're looking for a permanent part-time Marketing Coordinator (approx. 22 hours per week) to join our Chippendale team. This is your ticket into digital and social strategy - a rare chance to see how marketing works behind the scenes at a specialty coffee company.

It's the perfect role for students, early-career marketers, or those balancing freelance or part-time work. You'll be immersed in the business, working alongside marketing professionals, operations, sales, finance, and our café. Whether your background is in arts, marketing, comms, politics, or even physical education, we value skills and mindset over specialisation. So, if you have creativity, critical thinking, and curiosity this may be the role for you

How you'll contribute:

  • Support campaign rollouts, events, and social media planning
  • Coordinate content, assets, approvals, and reporting
  • Keep marketing calendars, insights, and trackers on point
  • Bring fresh ideas and energy to team brainstorms and projects

What we're looking for:

  • Creative, curious, and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills
  • Organised and proactive, able to manage multiple priorities
  • Early-stage marketing/communications experience or relevant study -
  • Bonus: content creation/design exposure (e.g. Canva, socials)

The details:

We're open to how the 22 hours per week are worked - either across 3 full days or 5 shorter days, depending on your commitments. Remuneration will be prorated against the full-time equivalent for this role.

Keen to make your mark? Apply today and be part of Toby's story.
