We are seeking a
Data Quality Manager
to take ownership of data integrity across WINR's global datasets. This is a hands-on role focused on data profiling, validation and quality improvement, working closely with engineering, data operations and external data partners. The successful candidate will bring a practical understanding of large-scale data environments and the ability to identify, prioritise and resolve data-quality issues that directly impact product performance and client confidence.

Key Responsibilities

Data Quality Management

• Establish and maintain profiling, validation and deduplication routines across core datasets (Alchemist, Atlas and Nexus).
• Conduct quality assurance of data extracts prior to client delivery to ensure consistency, completeness and compliance with specifications.
• Implement monitoring and reporting dashboards for key data quality metrics.
• Identify and resolve data anomalies, inconsistencies and ingestion errors across multiple geographies.
• Apply machine learning or reference data techniques to improve matching accuracy and completeness.

Data Ingestion and Partner Liaison

• Collaborate with engineering and data operations teams to align ingestion pipelines.
• Review incoming data files from external partners to ensure compliance with defined standards and formats.
• Act as liaison for partner data delivery issues, providing clear technical feedback and performance reporting.
• Support the evaluation of new data sources to determine accretive value and impact on data completeness.

Operational Leadership:

• Provide day-to-day technical guidance to the DataOps team to ensure consistent validation and triage processes.
• Contribute to WINR's Data Quality Framework, embedding scalable processes for validation, lineage tracking and reporting.
• Participate in Data Steering Committee meetings, providing updates and insights on data integrity metrics and partner performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in data quality, data operations or data management.
• Strong SQL proficiency for profiling, querying and deduplication.
• Experience with AWS Redshift or equivalent cloud data warehouse environments.
• Familiarity with Python or similar scripting languages for automation and data validation.
• Understanding of data ingestion pipelines, ETL frameworks and quality-control checkpoints.
• Proven experience working with structured and semi-structured datasets (e.g. CSV, JSON, Parquet).
• Ability to evaluate new data sources based on quality, completeness and commercial impact.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Clear communication skills, able to translate technical issues into commercial implications.

Desirable Skills

• Experience in FinTech, AdTech, identity verification or property data environments.
• Familiarity with address verification and keying frameworks such as Atlas or equivalent solutions.
• Exposure to data-governance or metadata-management tools.
• Practical knowledge of AI/ML for data quality enhancement and enrichment.
• Experience supporting offshore or remote data operations teams.
