Junior Graphic Designer

We are a fast-growing laser cutting/printing company specialising in the events industry located in Padstow, Sydney, NSW. We are looking for a Junior Graphic designer/Social Media assistant to join our design and and Social Media team. The position is currently based on a casual basis 1-2 days a week.

Job description

  • Design graphic files in Adobe Illustrator
  • Prepare files for laser cutting and printing
  • Working closely with Senior graphic designers, admin and production team
  • Posting and captioning on all social media platforms ie instagram and tik tok
  • planning Instagram and tik tok feeds
  • some occasional video editing may also be involved
  • Occasional shopify website maintenance may be required

Requirements

  • Knowledge in Adobe Suite in particular Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop essential
  • Experience in Social Media platforms instagram and tik tok preferred
  • Experience in Shopify website preferred
  • Own transport
  • Quick learner
  • Team player
  • Be organised and complete set tasks in a timely manner
  • Able to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Self-motivated and can work independently
  • Can take initiative and be creative in design work
  • Work well under tight schedules
