Junior Stylist / Retail Assistant – The Designer Precinct (Sydney)

The Designer Precinct — Sydney's go-to destination for luxury formalwear and bridesmaid dresses — is looking for a Junior Stylist to join our boutique team.

About the Role:

We're seeking a confident, organised, and people-loving stylist to assist in our beautiful Sydney boutique. This role involves styling clients for special occasions, maintaining store presentation, assisting with fittings, and supporting day-to-day boutique operations.

You'll work closely with our senior stylists and management team to ensure every client has an unforgettable experience.

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 2 years retail experience (fashion industry preferred)

Confident in styling clients and building genuine rapport

Available weekends (with occasional weekday shifts as needed)

Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Basic knowledge of Excel for inventory and client records

Experience with Shopify is highly regarded

Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

A genuine love for fashion, luxury, and customer service

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assisting clients in-store with styling advice and fittings
  • Managing stock, steaming garments, and maintaining store displays
  • Processing sales, exchanges, and online orders
  • Supporting social media or photoshoot preparation when required
  • Helping ensure every client leaves feeling beautiful and confident
