At Penrhos College, we believe curiosity sparks discovery—and that meaningful learning happens everywhere. We are seeking a passionate and experienced educator to lead our PK – 12 Outdoor Experiences program (0.9 FTE, negotiable), starting in Term 1, 2026.
This exciting role includes a 0.2 FTE component dedicated to IGSSA interschool sport coordination, offering a dynamic blend of outdoor education and sporting leadership.
Your Role in the Adventure:
EMBRACE – Champion a culture of safety, support and inclusivity across all outdoor programs.
CREATE – Enhance immersive outdoor learning experiences that promote growth and resilience.
SOAR – Lead camps and expeditions that build confidence, teamwork and leadership skills.
BLAZE – Inspire students from Pre-Primary to Year 12 to connect with nature and challenge themselves.
IMPACT – Model excellence in risk management, facilitation, and outdoor leadership.
What You Bring:
- Strategic curriculum development ability to align our Outdoor experiences across the College
- Strong experience leading outdoor programs and managing risk in Outdoor learning environments
- Teaching and Outdoor Education qualifications including First Aid, Surf Bronze Medallion (or START), and relevant instructor certifications
- Valid WWC, National Police Clearance, current resuscitation and appropriate driver's licence
- A commitment to student wellbeing, safety, and adventure-based learning
